Design systems every screen can follow.
Components, tokens and rules for your product and website, documented so designers and engineers build the same thing. One system, re-themed rather than rebuilt when the brand or the product grows.

When you need it
When the same argument keeps coming back.
Every feature looks a little different.
Buttons, spacing and colours drift with each new screen.
Design and code disagree.
The design file says one thing, and the product says another.
You serve more than one brand.
White-label clients, sub-brands or markets, each needing its own look.
New people take weeks to get going.
There’s no single source of truth to learn from.
What you get.
Audit
We count what you already have: every component, colour and pattern.
Tokens and theming
Colour, type and spacing as tokens, so a new theme is a change of values, not a rebuild.
Components
The parts every screen is made of, with every state designed.
Documentation
Written for the people who’ll use it, with examples and dos and don’ts.
Work we’ve shipped.
How a project runs.
01 Count
Every component, colour and pattern you have, checked for drift and what it costs you.
What you get
- Component inventory
- Inconsistencies found
- What to keep
02 Define
Colour, type and spacing become tokens, so a new theme is new values, not a rebuild.
What you get
- Tokens for colour, type and spacing
- Themes and dark mode
03 Build
Components in every state and variant, tested in real screens, and in code if you need it.
What you get
- Component library
- States and variants
- Motion and interaction rules
04 Adopt
Documentation with examples, then a handover to your designers and engineers so it’s used.
What you get
- Usage guidelines
- Code handoff
- Contribution rules

FAQ
Design systems, questions answered.
What’s the difference between a design system and a style guide?
A style guide shows how the brand looks. A design system gives teams the components and rules to build with it.
Do you build the components in code?
We design the system, and can build front-end components alongside your engineers.
Can one system support more than one brand?
Yes. With tokens and themes, a new brand is a change of values, not a new system.
How do we keep it up to date?
We hand over with documentation and contribution rules, and a design retainer can keep it growing with you.
How much does a project cost?
It depends on scope: how much is designed from scratch, how many places the work has to live, the content, and any 3D or interactive work. You get a written scope and quote before any work starts.
Who owns the work?
You do. Once the project is paid for, the design files and the code are yours.
How do we start?
Tell us about the project through the form, or write to projects@bunqlabs.com. The first call costs nothing. If we’re a good fit, you get a written scope and quote.
