How fast should a 3D configurator load?
As fast as you can make it. The configurator on Tesels’ homepage ships under 300 KB and loads in under a second on reasonable hardware, so visitors see a working product before reading any copy.
Can a configurator match our brand?
Yes, if the design system is built for it. Tesels uses plain, unopinionated components, so each client gets a configurator that looks native to their brand.
Where do configurators lose customers?
At the commercial moments: contacting a dealer, finding one, reserving, support and comparing. That’s where an interactive session turns into a commercial one.
Should it guide visitors or let them explore?
Ask them. Tesels opens with one question, whether the visitor wants to be guided or already knows what they’re doing, and routes them from there.
How much does a project cost?
It depends on scope: how much is designed from scratch, how many places the work has to live, the content, and any 3D or interactive work. You get a written scope and quote before any work starts.
